Thompson Belly Reduction

No… this is not what it sounds like although I do need what it sounds like.

Clayton’s guitar gets a belly reduction using T.J. Thompson s heated cauls. The maple bridge plate and top wood are wetted. Then the heated cauls are quickly clamped in place.

Treating the bellied D-28

Bridge plate cawl to reduce bellying.So far so good. We’ll see how they worked in about 30 hours.
